Key Ingredients

SEPINOV™ WEO (Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer) Pre-neutralized powder polymeric thickener on a wide pH range (3-12) and compatible with Ethylene Oxide free formulas. It has good resistance to electrolytes and imparts a light, satin-like skin feel.

FLUIDIFEEL™ EASY (Lauryl Glucoside - Myristyl Glucoside - Polyglyceryl-6 Laurate), emulsifies and stabilizes the formula, it provides a “nude” skin feel. O/W glycolipidic emulsifier processable at room temperature.

MONTANOV™ 82 (Cetearyl Alcohol and Coco-Glucoside) Glucolipid emulsifier derived from vegetable origin made in France. It is especially well-suited for formulations with a high concentration of active ingredients. In combination with the other grades of the MONTANOV™ range, it can be used to modulate the texture and flexibility of the emulsions as desired.

AQUAXYL™ (Xylitylglucoside & Anhydroxylitol & Xylitol) the essential moisturization active and when combined with Glycerin showing immediate and long term moisturization results! AQUAXYL™ 24 hour moisturization results @ 3% use level.

ANTILEUKINE-6™ Soothes and protects after UV exposure! (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride and Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract): Regulates the inflammation mediators for an immediate in vivo soothing effect and long term anti-aging and moisturizing benefits

Providing a smoothing effect with a satiny finish, and cushion without an oily sensation DUB ESTOLINE®* (Ethylhexyl polyhydroxystearate) A highly structured liquid polymer ester with a surprising honey-like yet non-sticky texture.

DUB HELIOPTIMA* (Diisopropyl Adipate (and) Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate (and) C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate (and) Diisopropyl Sebacate) An ester whose effects are especially well suited for suncare products and formulas incorporating UV protection. Compatible with the most commonly used suncare ingredients, this specialty ester facilitates the solubilization of sunscreens (both chemical and mineral), increases SPF and imparts unique sensory qualities, all in a single operation.

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - 300 grams - homogenizer & Sweeper

Protocol: Combine phase A and heat to 85C. Combine phase B and heat to 85C and then homogenize to help disperse zinc oxide. Disperse phase C and D into phase B and heat to 85C. Combine phase A and BCD together and homogenize for 4 minutes at 4,000rpm. Cooldown the batch with sweeper blade to ambient temperature.
